No, this product is a vehicle immobilizer. it stops your vehicle from being driven away by a thief. most thieves can disable an alarm system in seconds rendering them useless. this product cannot be defeated. the only way they can steal your car is to tow it and even then no measure will allow them to start it later. even with the actual key.
CAN A THIEF USE A RELAY THEFT DEVICE I KEEP SEEING ON THE NEWS
No, a thief can use the relay method among others to gain access to your vehicle but there is no technology available to any thief to defeat this immobilizer. because it adds a firewall to your cars computer system, they will not be able to drive away.
IS INSTALLATION DIFFICULT?
Installation is very straightforward and is generally complete in under 2 hours. weather permitting, in the GTAA we may even be able to install in your driveway.
